Configura Launches Two Essential Extensions for Warehouse Space Planning and Design

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH, USA—May 22, 2023— Configura has officially launched two new Essential Extensions: Essential Deep Racking and Essential Guarding. These solutions cover the needs of space planning for warehouses previously not addressed in CET Material Handling and CET Essentials.  

The new Essential Deep Racking Extension goes beyond selective pallet racking by offering deep racking systems such as drive-in, pallet live, push-back and shuttle racking. The Essential Guarding Extension provides complementary components for barrier systems, machine fencing and safety.   

Both solutions significantly accelerate the sales and engineering process with easy-to-use placement and calculations of material handling systems, 3D renderings and one-click piece counts. Essential Deep Racking and Essential Guarding Extensions are available in CET Essentials for Material Handling and CET Material Handling.

The 3D component of CET offers realistic photo-like renderings, allowing warehouse planners and decision-makers to better visualize designs with deep pallet racking and safety guards. Salespeople and engineers alike can smoothly lay out spaces digitally using visual components and built-in calculations, all while collaborating seamlessly in one platform. In CET Essentials for Material Handling, products are automatically assigned generic part numbers that will appear in the Calculation view, where users can specify and assign custom part numbers and pricing. 

Essential Deep Racking and Essential Guarding are part of Configura's CET 14.0 release, which also includes additional platform enhancements for CET Commercial Interiors and CET Kitchen & Bath.
