This release, scheduled for November 18, 2024, takes the CET experience to new heights with a continuation of the facelift, a streamlined Material Explorer, and even more flexibility for your design needs. Fresh and Refined User Interface
The latest CET facelift is now the default in CET 15.5, bringing cleaner visuals, faster tooltips, and more intuitive navigation. The option to toggle back to the previous UI remains for now, but it's temporary—so if you haven’t yet made the switch, this is the perfect chance to get familiar! We’re excited to give you more horizontal design space with a new button that will collapse or expand all component tabs with just a click!

Enhanced Auto backup Flexibility
Back by popular demand! You can once again store auto backups beside your project files, making it easier to keep track of backups and giving team members access when working on shared projects. This feature was highly requested, and we’re delighted to bring it back.
Material Explorer Just Got a Boost
Finding and sorting materials is now a breeze with the revamped Material Explorer. Materials are organized into three clear tabs—CET Materials, Manufacturer Materials, and My Materials—making it quicker to find what you need and loading faster than ever before. No more waiting around—just efficient access to the right materials at the right time.
Material Handling Library: Now Fully Released
For our CET Material Handling users, there’s big news! The Material Handling Library has graduated from beta and is officially available on CET 15.5. This library offers a wealth of manufacturer-supplied content, including robotics, forklifts, and other industry-specific tools, expanding your design possibilities. You can find this Extension on our marketplace, where you’ll have access to more options to enrich your designs with industry-leading products.
