We're giving CET a fresh new look! Say hello to a sleeker, more modern interface that's easier on the eyes and smoother to navigate. Dive in and experience the change for yourself!
You’re in Control
In the 15.0 (May 2024) release, we are presenting facelifted CET experience to which users will be able to opt-in. There will be a “Try the new UI” toggle switch, so you can decide when to learn the ropes, or go back if you don’t like it.
Our Primary Goals
- New Visual Design aims to modernize the CET experience you know and love, enhancing usability while paving the foundation for us to deliver exciting new features.
- UI Stability with backend improvements to improve user experience and general system performance; users will have the choice to try the new UI while retaining access to the current interface.
- UX Design Guidelines introduced to improve quality, design cohesion and user experience across the platform.

What’s Changed?
- Most tools have stayed in the same place, and functionalities are retained as much as possible. Any decisions about moving things were made with these principles in mind:
- More drawing space
- Grouping similar functions
- Clear status (view mode, drawing space)
- Cleaner spacing
- Modern, consistent components and icons
- Improved reliability and dialog performance (less flickering, etc.)
Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
Since our first release in 2004, the CET ecosystem has grown significantly, and we have seen technological advancements, evolving design paradigms, and shifting user expectations transforming the way we work. However, our core mission remains – to be the world’s most intelligent platform for designing sustainable, efficient, and beautiful spaces; and this mission drives every improvement we make.
While providing the CET experience users know and love, we're also constantly looking to enhance usability while paving the foundation to deliver exciting new features.
