CET Experience 2024: A Recap of LEARNING, INSPIRATION, AND CONNECTION
GRAND RAPIDS, USA — CET Experience 2024 just wrapped up, and what an incredible three days it was! From October 7-9, professionals from across the globe came together for a dynamic experience full of collaboration and insightful learning. The event featured an inspiring keynote that set the tone for the days ahead, complemented by valuable insights shared by our generous sponsors, enriching the experience for all attendees. From a magical night at the museum to a zoo excursion, engaging sessions, and workshops, almost 500 attendees enjoyed an unforgettable event.
Welcome party: A night at the museum
We welcomed attendees to CET Experience on Sunday evening with a magical party at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Guests enjoyed a night filled with engaging activities, including bingo, dinner, and drinks. There was plenty of mingling as attendees connected with one another, and a captivating planetarium show added to the experience. Participants also got creative making friendship bracelets—a perfect way to set the tone for the inspiring days ahead.
DAY 1
Peter Brandinger and Johan Lyreborn kicked off CET Experience 2024, sponsored by OFS. Alexandra Tseffos, host of "The Design Pop Podcast," shared updates and insights, followed by a special guest presenting time-saving innovations for dealer designers.
Throughout the day, attendees engaged in informative breakout sessions. In the afternoon, they were captivated by Shawn Kanungo’s inspiring session, The Age of Infinity: Generative AI & Our Future, which explored the transformative potential of AI in the industry. This was followed by sponsor updates, including Aura Powered by CIT and Yulio, who showcased exciting developments to enhance the design experience.
CONFIGURA KEYNOTE:
We unveiled Aline, our powerful new tool that streamlines project management and collaboration, seamlessly integrating with CET, Spec, and other platforms.
We also announced a centralized materials database for easier material access, along with the upcoming Web Drawing Viewer for real-time collaboration and enhanced design. Check it out!
Safari Soirée
The day concluded with a trip to John Ball Zoo for a wild time! Guests conversed with fellow attendees (and animals) while enjoying the sights. They encountered dinosaurs and goats, along with autumn leaves and pumpkins lining the paths in celebration of the spooky season.
DAY 2
On Day Two, sessions resumed, culminating in one of our favorite highlights: the Configura Awards! Congratulations to all the winners; we hope to have an even bigger turnout next year! With that, the main portion of the conference came to a close. In the passionate words of Johan Lyreborn to all those who participated, “Well done!”

DAY 3
On Day Three, we offered an optional day of workshops, allowing participants to dive into CET, Spec, Twinmotion, or CET Developer while bringing their laptops along for the ride. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn and connect with others!
